His most recent books include; Organizing for Educational Justice (University of Minnesota Press, 2010) Charter Schools and the Corporate Makeover of Public Education with Michelle Fine (Teachers College Press, 2012), The Changing Politics of Education: Privatization and the Dispossessed Lives Left Behind, with Michelle Fine (Paradigm Publishers, 2013). Mike is presently working on Austerity Blues and the Fight for Higher Education with Steve Brier.
