George Fox University E-mail Author GARY M. KILBURG is a professor of education and has taught in the Master of Arts in Teaching program and is also the director of the Mentoring Institute for the School of Education at George Fox University for the past 22 years. Gary was named George Fox University's Graduate Teacher of the Year for 2007-2008. Recent publications include peer reviewed articles in the Mentoring and Tutoring Journal, Teachers College Record, ICCTE Journal and Chapter X and XI, Volume II of Dominguez, N., and Guadarrama, J. (Eds.) (2011) Field Guide of Mentoring: An Outlook of Theory and Practice (Manual de Mentoring: Perspectivas Teoricas y Practicas). Instituto de Administracion Publica del Estado de Mexico (IAPEM) . Dr. Kilburg has been a book reviewer for Teachers College Record as well as serving as a peer reviewer for the ICCTE Journal, American Educational Research Journal, and AERA National Conference proposals. Gary has also been a board member for the International Mentoring Association from 2006-2010 and has taught at both the secondary level and in a higher educator for 45 years.
