University of Neuchâtel E-mail Author TANIA ZITTOUN is Professor in psychology and education at the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). A sociocultural developmental psychologist, she is interested in life-long learning and development. She has studied informal learning, and the articulation between formal and informal education; she has especially examined the role of fiction and films in developmental transitions. Her recent publications include the co-edited Cultural Psychology and Psychoanalysis: Pathways to Synthesis (Salvatore, S. & Zittoun, T. (Eds), Information Age Publishing, 2011) and the forthcoming co-authored Human development in the lifecourse.
