Program in Curriculum and Instruction at University of Louisiana at Monroe. He specializes in educational policy research and quantitative methods in educational research. In particular, his research focuses on the relationship between policy, instructional improvement, and the social organization of schooling, with a specific focus on how to cultivate strong relationships between school professionals. He has recently served as assistant editor for the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Handbook on Education Policy Research, and on the New Scholar editorial board for the Educational Policy Analysis Archives journal.
