New York University E-mail Author KARLY SARITA FORD is a doctoral candidate in the sociology of education program at New York University. In the broadest sense, she is interested in the relationship between education and social stratification. Ford's current research focuses on educational homogamy and intermarriage among American college graduates. She was the recipient of an IES pre-doctoral interdisciplinary research and training fellowship. Ford also works on projects related to international education for American Institutes for Research (AIR).
