Life Coping Skills: A Fifth Curriculum

This paper deals with one aspect of educational programming, namely, ways of helping learners to acquire the necessary knowledge, perspectives, and skills for coping with the specific problems of personal and vocational development. It reviews briefly past and present curricular and counseling approaches to coping skill development and describes a model which may be of value in charting new directions.
