The Catholic Church and Anti-semitism

by Emmanuel Chapman 1939

WHY there should be a question mark in the title of Dr. Lehmann's article "Is Catholicism Anti-Semitic?" when only one side is presented as seriously open to question. That there are Catholics who are anti-Semitic, among them even a broadcasting priest who also reprints excerpts from the forged Protocols of Zion, no one will deny; but, as this reply will show, Catholicism is not anti-Semitic, and for Catholics to be anti-Semitic is contrary to their faith.
