Turn to page 48; you will read to page 113 and be glad you did. This section is called a faculty letter but don't stop for that reason. It doesn't in the least resemble a stenographic report of a faculty discussion. It is a serious account of a serious study by a serious man. The man is not only serious but sensible. He is taking the academic clock apart to see why it doesn't tick.
