Schooling and Change: A View from the Lower Rung

The authors investigate teacher culture, utilizing case study methods, with an eye toward understanding and uncovering change possibilities. Findings indicate that this culture is dominated by notions of public-service managerial values and limited interaction that enable and limit opportunities for bottom-up transformation.
