Amateur College Athletics

Something must be done for American college athletics. In the past several years, developments have been witnessed which indicate quite dramatically that there are severe and chronic disturbances in this extremely important area of higher education. Although difficulties have not been confined to colleges, the problems encountered there are of such scope and magnitude that they must of necessity be resolved before conditions can be improved in other programs.
