Training in the Skills Needed for In-Service Education Programs

by Matthew B. Miles & A. Harry Passow 1957

This chapter is based on the premise demonstrated in the example that providing needed training for participants when program difficulties are in the offing is not only desirable but essential, if a high level of performance on the part of participants is to be maintained. As such, the chapter is focused primarily on the improvement of processes through training and does not deal centrally with the content problems of in-service programs.
