Area, State, Regional, and National In-Service Education Programs

The accounts of inservice education programs which follow are not intended to constitute an extensive survey of the field, nor even a representative sampling of activities at the area, state, regional, and national levels. They are, instead, intended principally to provide illustrations of the twelve in-service education guidelines presented in chapter v. The programs discussed are those which have at certain points unique qualities which may be of special interest and help to persons having leadership responsibilities for planning and conducting in-service education activities.
