Kent State University E-mail Author TIMOTHY RASINSKI is a professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Kent State University where he is a member of its literacy education faculty. Rasinski’s scholarly interests include instructional interventions for students who struggle in reading, reading fluency, and word study. Rasinski has written several highly regarded books on reading instruction, including The Fluent Reader (2010) and Teaching Children who Struggle in Reading (2012). In 2010 Rasinski was inducted into the International Reading Hall of Fame.
