    SUE DOCKETT is Professor, Early Childhood Education, at Charles Sturt University, Australia. Over many years, Sue has researched educational transitions, particularly the transition to school and the transition from primary to secondary school. Her current projects include an international collaboration entitled Pedagogies of Educational Transition, which explores transition practices and pedagogies in 5 different countries. Sue's current Australian research explores issues of educational policy and practice around transition, and the transition to school experiences of marginalized groups. Key recent publications include the Transition to School: Position Statement (ETC Research Group) and, with Bob Perry and Anne Petriwskyj, Transitions to school: International Research, Policy and Practice (Springer).
