Queen's University E-mail Author PAUL FAIRFIELD is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is the author of eight books and numerous articles in the fields of continental philosophy, philosophy of education, and political theory, including Education After Dewey (2008). Among his current projects is a co-edited volume titled Education and the Conversation of Mankind and a book titled Death: A Philosophical Inquiry.
