Teachers College E-mail Author GEORGE H. PEGEAS earned an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University in International Education Development with a specialization in Education Leadership. He has a passion for transformational education and works as an independent researcher, freelance educator and education consultant. His research interests include privatization and school choice, the effects of urban education policy on youth development, and radical studies of schooling.
