University of Georgia E-mail Author BOB FECHO is a professor in the Language and Literacy Education Department at the University of Georgia (Athens, Georgia, US). To date, his work has focused on issues of language, identity, sociocultural perspectives, practitioner research, and dialogical pedagogy as they relate to adolescent literacy particularly among marginalized populations. His latest book, Writing in the Dialogical Classroom, was published by NCTE in March 2011 and another, Teaching for the Students: Habits of Heart, Mind, and Practice in the Engaged Classroom, will be available in August 2011.
