Purdue University Calumet E-mail Author LYNN W. ZIMMERMAN is an Associate Professor of Education at Purdue University Calumet
In Hammond, IN. She served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Poland where she taught English as Foreign Language (TEFL) to Polish high school students from 1992-1994. In Spring 2009, she served as a Fulbright Scholar at Wroclaw University in Poland teaching students in the English Philology program. She has presented on language-related topics at national and international conferences and has published a variety of articles on these topics. In 2010 she published ESL, EFL and Bilingual Education: Exploring historical, sociocultural, linguistic, and instructional foundations, a comprehensive collection of essays on various topics related to English language education.
