University of Delaware E-mail Author JAN H. BLITS is Professor of Education and Distinguished Honors Professor at the University of Delaware. He has served as Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Fellow at the U.S. Naval Academy. His articles have appeared in Educational Theory, The Review of Politics, The Journal of Politics, Political Theory, Interpretation, The Public Interest, The Southern Journal of Philosophy and other journals. His most recent book is New Heaven, New Earth: Shakespeare’s “Antony and Cleopatra” (Lexington Books, 2009). He is currently completing a book on the classical political world.
