Why I Am Resigning from the Teacherís Union

THAT THOSE who are interested in educational decency need to be organized to offset the activity of those who would thwart it is entirely obvious today. We are familiar with the specific ways in which the thwarting crews apply their pressure, whether the captain be a Blanton, a Hearst, or an unsung hero of the market place. And we will be given additional evidence as individual schools and educators respond to the challenge which a society in need of reconstruction has thrown out. On this score we can entertain no doubt.
