    JIM VANDERGRIFF is Assistant Professor of Educational Studies at Knox College in Galesburg, IL. Dr. Vandergriff has two articles on Missouri Folklore currently in press and two articles on Native American education in circulation. One of his current projects includes interviewing Navajo adults about their boarding school experiences. Dr. Vandergriff is now working on a book of readings in Missouri folklore.
