Janet Allenís new book On the Same Page: Shared Reading Beyond the Primary Grades, continues her research, teaching, and writing about adolescent readers (Allen, 2000; Allen, 1999; Allen & Gonzalez, 1998). In this text, she encourages educators to celebrate their voices and those of their students through shared reading experiences.
